Situated in the wonderfully picturesque valley between Monmouth and Chepstow, Landemann (pronounced Lan-der-mun) nestles on gently sloping, south west facing slopes, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is lovely old pasture that is sheltered in the lea of the hillside woods of Wain-y-Parc, and the natural bowl of the valley in which the land lies.
With natural hedge fencing and well drained old pasture, the ponies enjoy the peace and quiet of this lovely setting, where cuckoos and skylarks are sometimes the only sounds to be heard. Being nearly 250 metres above sea level, there are breathtaking views across the valley, where rural landscapes deceptively hide the closeness of the motorway network which is only 12 miles away. |
